Thank you all for your input and ideas. Just for the record, I have used bon ami (original) (got this recommendation from the Porsche Club) and I have tried the Stoner Invisible Glass, I have used only unprinted paper towels, used dedicated cloth towels that are lint free, etc. All with no removal of the haze. This haze or streaking is on the outside of the windshield, and most obvious and annoying at night in the rain as the wiper blade moves across the windshield. When the blade stops, the haze goes away. Using genuine Saab blades, and have changed them often. When the windshield is dry it is perfectly clean and clear and looks great. (The inside of the windsheild is cleaned regularly, and not the problem.) (I have tried the Rain-X in the past on other cars, and prefer not to go that route. Not fond of waxing the windshield. I do know a lot of people that like Rain-X though.
Someone was asking about using Windex on window tint film. I have lived in Fl. for many years, and all of our cars have had film added. When first installed, the window film installer will advise against using Windex as the film is soft and could be damaged. Once the film dries on the glass (after about a full month) there is not much that can bother it. I have used windex and other cleaners on the film with no apparant problem.....the only thing that seems to bother the film is when a passenger points to something and taps on your window with a sharp object.....leaving marks on the film.
Again, thanks for everyone's comments. I will try some of the ideas I haven't tried yet.
