S60R- Sounds good on paper, hopefully they've re-worked the chassis to handle the extra power. I've heard bad things about the T5 version and its not as powerful!
330xi- nice enough car. IMO a lot of money for such a small car. All the C&D readers will love it. Not sure about 0-60<6.5 though. There's probably already 10 of them on your block. The engine gets best fuel economy in its class for a v6
Passat W8- I don't think you get this one to 60 in under 6.5. Not sure if MT is available yet.
WRX STI (or even a plain 'ol WRX)- great car, great price, fun as hell. Interior sucks. kinda small.
G35- All the mags like it. 3.5L V6 likes the fuel. Interior is OK for its price. I bet there's as many of these around as there is 3 series. Hope you like drag racing guys in new Accords.
Is a 9-3SS absent from your list for any reason? You could probably get a vector and some tuning for the price of a 330.
2003 Aero is nice, but you already know that.
Subaru is coming out with a hi-po Legacy if you're into that. All the fun of a WRX, all the space of a Legacy.
For the price of a 330, you're in Audi S4 country.
For the budget minded, I like the new Mazda 6. I'll take that over an Accord any day.
I noticed that you're going from a midsize to a compact for all of your choices except the Passat. Will you be happy with the smaller cars?
The new E55 doesn't come with a stick, but I don't think you'd miss it!
Happy car shopping!
Brad
