Mobil 1 0W30, 5W30, 10W30, and every SaabUSA full or semi-synthetic oil is A1/B1. The manual specifies A3/B3, which is put in at the factory. You can not escape the fact that A1/B1 is thinner where it counts ... inside the bearings. Turbo engines load the bearings more than non-turbo.
