Need your help, does this sound right??

My '01 SE is still at the dealership for the 30k service. Still sporting the '03 Linear loaner. One of the items I wanted looked at is the auto tranny. It clunks into drive and reverse and is sketchy going downhill, which didn't seem right to me. Received a call today from the service advisor informing me that everything is working as it should, however the car would benefit from a $209 auto transmission flush. Not just a drain and refill, but a full flush. I didn't think cars would need this until at least double the mileage I have. The rep told me that since we're at high elevation (5300 feet) that it needs flushing more often. HOWEVER- the first 15,000 miles on this car were driven in California, which I told him.
So what's the real story guys? Should I really do this, or should I wait to the next service point??
Thanks!
buddy
