it has saved my butt every time, except when I turned it off....in my wife's bmw z-3....I don't know about the saab implementation (yet) but in the z, a light comes on when esp goes into effect....even this morning, it helped out a lot...a couple of icy patched in north eastern NJ, secondary roads (they all are)....ESP makes that car usable in light snow...I would think it would make the 9-5 unshakeable.
the reason I drive the z on days like this...the wife feels the saab is unstoppable....and often I can get the z out of the drive on days she can't...with hakkapolitas on the 9-5, especially skinny skinny ones, the saab does great, but with traction control and esp, it would be great.
