Slither time...

Sounds as if I need to slither under the rear of my car tonight to see what type I do have. The new pads are clearly for the fixed style caliper, small and square. I want to have all the right parts on hand before I start the job.
My rear rotors are probably fine, but my fronts are worn. Since I am switching to a cross-drilled style I wanted the same on all four corners. Same with the pads. The fronts are OEM replacements with only 22,000 miles on them but I hate the dusting. Since I felt I needed to replace the rear pads, I am doing the fronts too with the same pad material.
After seeing how thin the abrasive material is on a set of new rear pads I now wonder if my existing ones are really all that worn. New front pads are quite thick, new rears aren't. W.I.S. says rears are OK until material reaches only 4mm thick, I should have read that note earlier.
