image about the middle of the car. As you, I am about to put the summer tires back on my wife's 9-5 Aero. The Primacy tires are similar to the Dunlop SP 5000 asymmetrical tires on my 9000 Aero. The tire has a front side, if you watch closely, you can see the marking which side should face out. This means the same side faces out for all tires regardless of which side of the car you put them on. These are NOT directional (mirror image tires) tires.
As far as I can tell, that's how they should be mounted and used.
I actually prefer non-directional tires, as theoretically, they can be swapped side to side if need be. I still don't know why some people don't recommend swapping tires side to side. I think modern radial tires can be swapped side to side without problem, as even Tire Rack site suggests this can be done.
