At the Aero Flight school half the cars are wagons. I actually couldn't tell the difference, and this was driving pretty hard through the autocross, slalom, skidpad -- all the stuff we did. One of the instructors said he'd preferred the wagon because the extra weight is mostly in the back, which brings a little more F/R balance....but he was a professional racer and pretty attuned to these things.
I think if you test the sedan you won't feel any difference at all with the wagon. And, IMHO, you'll have the best-looking wagon in the world. That think is just gorgeous.
