Saab's CPO program is actually very reasonably structured. It turns out that the selling dealer is on the line for a full three months after the sale of the CPO car. Theory being that if they missed something during the process (or conveniently overlooked it) they'll end up paying for it anyway.
In this way you can have a little more confidence that the CPO process was conducted as designed. My CPO 9-5 has easily lived up to my expectations so far.
