is the only advantage. cold braking is not as good as the oe textars--and I think high speed high temp braking is reduced also. The cool green paint burnt right off on the break - in high speed braking, and they are also prone to squealing as you come to a light braking stop. They have no anti-squeal shims bonded to the pad, this is the only long term solution to squeal. The original textar pads lasted 30k mles--lots of high speed smoke the brake pads braking--and the lettering was still readable on the pads. The green stuff look like they have been torched in a fire . I think it is worth it to put up with the dust just for the xtra braking ability of the oe pads.
