Hi Rodney,

I've been getting quotes that have ranged from $1500-2100.
4-5 years and 50K-60K miles. But these have been from dealers. Any suggestions? I live in CA so a lot of the ones I've searched on the web don't apply to me because of some funky law.

This little "incident" has shaken my faith on this car. We've had our Camry in the family for 8 years (162Kmiles)and it has never had to stay in the shop for more than a day for anything. My dad's 2000 Accord has 72K miles, only been in the shop for body repair. I've only had this car 5 DAYS and it's had to be towed to the shop! To be honest, now i'm a little spooked by this and in the back of my mind i'm going to be wondering when this may happen again, or something worse, I may be on a longer road trip. If this had happened a day earlier I would have been a hundred miles from the nearest saab dealer. Then I would have been pretty screwed. Anyways... i'm ranting... I'm not mad at anyone, though i'm wondering how thorough that inspection was at Dirito Bros, i'm just a little disappointed and a seed of doubt has been put in my mind about whether I made the right choice or not. Like I said earlier, hopefully it was just a fluke.
