It's been almost a year and about 16K miles on my Aero--all without a radar detector.
On my 900, I had the detector mounted above the rear-view mirror, with a wire tucked under the headliner along the front of the windshield and running down to power under the dash. The result was that you really didn't notice the unit either from inside or outside the car.
On the Aero--short of a couple thousand bucks for a built-in unit--I have not figured a reasonable location to locate a detector. I suppose I could lay it on the dash when driving on the freeway, or stick it to the windshield, etc.
What sort of solutions for installation have been used?
