Hello all,
Not wishing to start a huge oil debate again but.....
I was in with my local dealer today and the service manager was saying that there is a modification which needs to be done for "older engines" which are using fully synthetic oil. The mod has something to do with the crank case breather? My engine is a Model year 2000 4 cylinder.
The service manager said the modification relieves pressure on seals and also helps prevent premature wear on the timing chain.
Has anyone had this mod done ? or does anyone have any more information about it?
Thanks in advance.
