then it wasn't done. Saab has a record of all warranty and service work done on the car that was at their cost so they would know. Nothing stops you from taking the car in at 40K miles and asking for the 30K service that the vehicle is entitled to as part of the sales agreement.
So...its at 40K just ask to have the 30K service done at 40K. The 40K service is an inspection service rather than the 30K which they do much more.
The only reason I could see the dealer saying no is if Saab has some rules or parameters around what mileage that free service can be offered between.
I would forget about the lease garbage - doesn't matter if it was a lease or not.
