A fluid change-out is a great idea, plan on doing it every 30,000 miles with the other major service items even though the owner's manual only calls for it at 60,000 mile intervals (I think).
There is no filter on a 9-5 automatic.
There is no need for any gaskets to drain the fluid, (not even a replaceble washer on the drain plug!).
I am not aware of ANY seals on ANY automatic transmission that can be changed without a major overhaul of the transmission - all parts out of the case on a bench.
Their lack of experience servicing Saab transmissions is obvious by their stated work item listing.
Run, do not walk, to another service provider for your fluid change if you are not comfortable doing it yourself. Like Stephen said, as simple as an engine oil change. Three quarts (and maybe a smidge more) of Dexron-III grade Texaco Havoline is what Saab recommends.
