I am not sure if you live in a no fault state, but if it is being covered by the Jettas insurance you should be able to take it to whatever shop you want. I have USAA and they wanted me to take my car to one of their shops. I didn't like their shop so I got a quote from a place I wanted to go to. The quotes were the same so they just mailed me a check and I went to my preferred place. Talk to your insurance company and they will give you advice on how to handle the claim with USAA.
