yeah, we have a 2000 gary fisher wagon and i have to push the "S" everytime i get in the car. imho, the "S" doesn't really do that much and it's a pain to have to do it every time...it should stay in default on how you turn off the engine. another thing is the AC. every car i've ever owned stays on/off depending on how it was turned off. SAAB in its infinite wisdom choose to have it on perpertual "on." last week our transmission went out and i thought it was a goner w/ only 57k miles. it turns out it was some $300 module($415) w/ labor so not too bad. my major gripes on the car is 1) it leans too much and wears out front tire edges quickly, 2) suspension is a bit bouncy(vs. mercedes/bmw), 3) brake dust on front wheels are unusually hi(compared w/ other euro car mfgrs). overall though, my wife LOVES the car. great interior, heated seats, wood dash, great exterior looks, wonderful value, lots of safety features, and LOTS of storage space.
