Read the link.
You do not know if the pads are warped unless you put a dial indicator or quivalent to see if there is a physical warp.
I run EBC's and this happened to me. I did a number of agressive stops and burnt/residtributed the problem away completely. You have to brake with high petal force when doing this, and also follow guideline in the link.
I don't think that the problem is specfic to any rotor. But is is specific to pads with high organic content that have a cohesive friction component.
So give that a try. You have nothing to loose at this point if the rotors are truely warped.
If you ignored the problem for a long time, uneven deposits can lead to uneven heating. And unsymetical heating can warp a disk.
I think that the EBC's need a driver who does agressive stopping from time to time to avoid this problem. The link discusses how pad wear can expose organic rich pad material and a few ill-condtioned braking events can lead to uneven organic deposits on the rotors. Yes, it feels warped, but intially it is not a warped rotor.
I think that once you understand this, you will see that it does not make sense that any one rotor would be any different from another or OEM rotors in this regard.
EBC pads, and others of this type, maybe ill suited for some drivers. I will no longer recommend them to folks in general. However, they do work very well when they do! I think that they are great pad for a driver who understands whats going on at the pad-rotor interface. Not many folks care of want to know such things. Others, a minority, are ok with such.
