to 15,000 miles using oil meeting GM LL 25A specs ... that's fully synthetic Saab Turbo Oil (0W-30) or Mobil 1 0W-40. It's also waaaayyyy to long to go between oil changes. I don't know what money Saab thinks they are saving by going cheap on the recommended oil change intervals (that they pay for). I have with my own eyes seen 9-5 engines on a hook getting their gummed-up balance chain tensioners replaced - engines still under warranty that had the factory recommended maintenance done on them.
