You'll have to rig something to hold the engine when you remove the top engine bracket. Saab has a special tool that you insert between the bottom of the engine and a crossmember, but you might be able to fashion something without buying the special tool.
I've often found that wood splitting wedges work wonders in these situations.
I'm pretty sure there are instructions using the Saab tool listed on Swedespeed or taliferro web sites.
