The Saab HK system is good, don't get me wrong. It's better than the Monsoon in my VW GTI, which for some reason sounds like pure crap on AM, so-so on CD and pretty good on some CDs.
But the BEST car system I ever heard was the Bose in phred's Audi A6. It almost made you cry, it was so clear, clean and balanced. You know it's a good system when you crank the volume and it doesn't hurt, it just gets louder. The odd thing is, the Bose in my A4 which should have been comparable wasn't quite as good.
Now I know Bose is very controversial in the audiophile world, I'm not especially pro or con, I just know that my small Bose sat/sub system in the living room is very nice and that A6 system was heaven.
