search for sender
The sender and pump are integrated, and there are four wires.
The fuel pump should have one black wire and ?Bk/Gn? for power.
The sender wire colors -used-to-be- ye/wh gy/wh, both go to the instrument panel.
If the wire colors are different, you can figure things out by measuring the ohms.
After the needle drops, discon the sender, gauge does what? Measure the sensor ohms then. If the sender looks ok, probably a problem with the instrument cluster. A short in the wiring would look like an empty tank. An open circuit should read full.
Look for damage from mice, this damage sometimes is found near the tank.
The other gear that you see is probably the evap control system.
