is that they don't fool you into thinking their tires does the trick for all your driving needed. Now if the consumer expects that, well ...
Look into the information that's on their website.
You just don't expect a tire to last forever (tread wear) and give you good handling performance. You're heading into snow storms, you should be wearing a snow tire (i.e pilot alpin).
Look, I've had the MXV4 Plus and it's a quiet tire which was perfect for those long summer trips. In the wet, I knew the tires weren't capable so I slowed down. I sold the Saab after 60,000 km of safe driving with those tires and they had many life left in them. The Pilots were the cure for Ontario's winters, they never let me down one.
I think for your expectations the MXV4 S8 would have given you more satisfaction.
