I drove my father-in-laws 1999 Acurca TL from Florida to Illinois last spring and went though some SERIOUS rain storms and he had 80K miles on his MXV4 tire with no issues. I still cannot believe he now has 94K miles on the original tires and they still are are least twice the wear indicator (4/32) Maybe the TCS improves thing, but I was actually was quite surprised how well they handle in the rain/snow considering how "flat" the tread design is. I think he's going get 100K out of them before I make him replace them before next winter.
