I did remove the fuses for the headlights and the fan. And you can imagine how hesitant I was to disconnect the thing in the end. But when after a couple of hours it was still at 0%, I measured the battery and decided that it's time to give up. As I already said, the car behaves as usual, like nothing ever happened.
BTW, what options did you have in the menu when you first connected it to the car? I only have "show VIN" and "tune". I thought it would want to load the original software from the ECU first, or else how would it be able to restore it (although maybe it already comes with a standard version pre-loaded in memory).
