Advice: Would You Pay $2,000...

for a 4 year, 50,000 mile bumper to bumper extended warranty? I'm faced with this delima and don't have long to make a decision. I need to decide by the time my car rolls the 50k mark, and it's sitting now with 49,779.
Do you think this is a good investment, will I get my money back? Or would I be best off taking that $2,000 and sticking it aside for repairs?
Just yesterday at the dealer they found a vacuum leak and replaced the mass air flow sensor, which would have been about $700 for both. Not to mention the window clanking issue, which they resolved. This car has been reliable but has spent its _fair_ amount of time getting warranty work done.
Please please give me some advice here. I'm 19, trying to buy a house in about a year. I'm thinking this could either hurt me by taking $2,000 or it could help me by not having surprising repairs pop up for the next 3.03 years (based off 16,500 per year for 50,000 more miles).
thanks!!
buddy
