Yes, I used new Saab type washers. I've replaced many filters on my 2 previous 9Ks and remember that the cars also cranked longer right after the change. However, it did not last days. I'll give it some time to see if it works its way out. The car's tank was almost full when I changed the filter so that is not the issue.
