2002 aero brakes squeal - dealer says it's normal

So I purchased a 2002 Aero from a private party in Feb w/ 17k and now have 20k on the car. The brakes squealed and when I bought the car in for the free 20k service I told the dealer about the breaks and their squeal. They looked at the car and applied some anti-squealing lubricant and said it just part of the car that the brakes would squeal.
Well the brakes were fine, but now their back to making some noise. It's nothing huge, but it would seem to be a little inconsistent with an otherwise well thought-out car. Should I insist the brakes be fixed or let it slide? Like I said, it's not the worst thing ever, just not consistent with a car that's so cool.
BTW, I had no problem transferring over the free maintenance and was very happy about things that were fixed without my asking (e.g., the rusty lug nuts were replaced, the car washed and some lights replaced). All in all this a great car and I'm happy so far with SAAB.
