no reason to suspect my current 9~5 lpt could not reach 100+ mph. I used to commute on I5 from N Ca to S Ca 5~6 yrs ago, did a lot of 100+ with the 9K CSE was still pulling.
Although the current Linear is lpt, the way it delivers (in Sport mode) between 15~60 still amazes me: Comaring 9~5 with a 540I (290hp v8) we used to have (I did 115 on our way to Calgary Canada), when we're talking about "moving start" from 15 thru 60~70, the 9~5 Linear should be able to go head to head with it.... although the power would not come as refined, smooth and poised .... regardless, the other car don't need to know how it deliver the power anyway, right :-)
100+ ? no question. 15~70 drag? 9~5 in Sport mode (turn off ACS) may beat the Camero .. but I haven't tried it to be sure.
