Please tell me what camera you used. Anything different.. macro mode perhaps? - or cropped in on a pix?
That plug does look great. But the replacement plug says it all.
It is so easy to change the plugs on the 4 cyl engines, platinum plugs do not make any sense for someone inclined to DIY.
I am running 7ES plugs, hacked to reduce flame kernel quench. Corners of the ground electrode ground off that extend out beyond the cylinder of the center electrode and some other 'rounding' to reduce surface area. These hacked plugs also run better than stock 7ES plugs in a 99'9-3HOT with a MBC+A.. smoother power and more willing to getup and go.
