In the central texas area (Austin mostly) Every SAAB I encounter has a rough start problem. Cars driven from other cities do not have this problem until they fill up here. Our warm weather fuel has a low Reid vapor pressure. When the switch is made to cool weather the problem goes away. SAAB is fully aware of the problem, but doesn't do anything about it because it only affects a few hundred vehicle in certain areas.
Welcome to GM. Most euro's have a starting prob in my area. Its not exclusive to SAAB.
Top Engine Cleaner will help with carbon build up, which a problem will most euro brands. Remember the 1980's?
Grin n bear it.
