2000+ mile road trip Aero Sport Wagon-Adaptive memory?

The wife, my 1 year old daughter and myself drove from Denver to LA and back last week and had a great time. The wagon was so loaded that I could barely put my finger between the tire and the rear wheel well. I have cargo bars and the back deck was loaded too. Driving out the car had no problem over the highest of mountains, never downshifting from 5th gear (5 speed) Boost was into the red about a needles width on the highest passes (+10,000 ft) At sea level the car did not seem to run as well. Boost was only 3/4 in yellow, and didn't feel very strong. ON the return trip in the mountains, booost would only go to end of yellow. Now that I've been home for a while my boost is back to the red again. Milage on the trip averaged 26.7mpg.
My question is, does the adaptive memory reset itself on long trips? Since I'm flying down the road at 85-90 mph and no boost, does the computer calculate that and figure it in to the "driving style"
Note: In Colorado, if someone thinks they are cruising up the mountains they almost never move over to the right lane even if your right behind them. I enjoyed following this guy in his Porche Cayenne S up the hill and no matter how hard he tried he couldn't shake me, and I still didn't down shift. I finally let him go cause the smell from his catylitic converter was killing me. I love our 9-5!
