Saab have stated "filled for life" as long as I can remember for their manual transmission, never worked.
It is absolutly nothing wrong with getting a fresh batch of oil in there every 30K miles and get the magnetic plug cleaned out.
I don't know why they so stubbornly go on saying that nothing is needed in terms of transmission oil/fluid change and then at the same time coming up with new fluids and TSBs as how to replace the fluid if this or that symptom occurs.
They will probably tell you that you don't need it and you will have to pay for if they go ahead and do it.
