The OEM lug bolts have a conical washer, Ronals do not. Any benefit either way? Ronal advises using their lugs with their wheels so I did. Hopefully, they will not rust as much as the OEMs.

The OEM BBS wheels are nearly perfectly balanced inside to outside and can stand on their own on level ground. The Ronals (R7) are heavier on the outside and can’t stand by themselves. Doesn’t it make more sense for the wheels center of gravity to be in the centerline of the wheel? This might be an offset issue, since the Ronal wheel is 0.5” wider and the mount point seems further to the outside.

Lastly, it is kind of funny going from 17x7 summers to 16x7.5 winters. Wheels look short and stubby…more aggressively fill the wheel wells, yet smaller.

Any idea as to how the wider wheel affects handling? I have read that the widest wheel for a given tire will give the best handling. It looks as if the track is actually slightly wider.
