Same car and year but in wagon form and yes I'm surprised how rough it is at idle or most in my case barely off idle. It really feels like a deisel IMHO and this is after a dealer trip where they changed the plugs, adjusted idle etc. In fact just off idle as I mentioned the vibration is very noticeable as the whole car vibrates. I know someone posted that this is somewhat normal but I've owned a few 4cyl cars in my time and none were as buzzy as this one is around idle. As the rpms climb there is traditional 4cyl engine buzziness, but nothing like the whole car vibration at the begining.
Its a really nice car and I like pretty much everthing about it. But it doesn't run like a luxury car when you first get going, more like a mid 80's American 4cyl. Again this relates to right when you put it in gear and just barely get moving, at least in my case.
