I'm not familar with the 4-speed auto, just my 5-sp, but I think that it's an incredible automatic.
Previous car was a 1998 Prelude, which I thought I'd give the Sequential Sportshift a try (since I couldn't find a used 5-speed). I was not happy with it, should have held out for 5-speed.
I've had loaner 9-5's with paddle-shifts, not impressed. Just put the '02 in Drive and "Sport" mode, yee-haw.
I am also very impressed with the ESP, after playing with it some in a snow-covered parking lot. I've been driving in snow for many years, consider myself rather skilled, but it's nice knowing that ESP is there if I need it.
