I emailed a dealer about getting some lease numbers based on terms that I sent them. They are one of those "up-front" pricing dealers that posts the costs on their website. Anyways, here is the response I got from the salesperson:

My questions are: If the advertised Arc lease deal for January on saabusa is 359/month for 36months/12,000miles a year on a car with an MSRP of 36,250+720 destination charge...and she ran these lease numbers off of the "Delivered Value Price" of 35,972 for 36months/15,000miles a year...isn't 579 a bit high even considering the mileage increase, and adding taxes etc? Or am I missing something? Would putting the 2,999 down upfront as in the advertised lease special instead of the 2,000 I had her run the numbers with have that dramatic of an impact on the payment?
Please help an ignoramus out!
Thanks,
Brian
