And after driving my car last night from Beverly MA to my home in southern nH through the biggest blizzard we have had in thirty some years,I am more convinced than ever that it is all about the tires. Most of the roads I went on last night for this 40 mile trip had at least 6 inches of fresh snow,no tire tracks at all, and that inclided interstate 95,and it had been plowed, it was just snowing so hard that the plows could not keep up. Not once did this car flinch,and I spotted at least two SUV's off the side of the road in snowbanks( with next to zero/zero visibility). I keep asking myself about looking at a car like the new Acura RL when I finally decide to switch cars at some point, then question that thought by driving in the 9-5. I cannot imagine having a winter car better than this.
