Here's the situation, me and my buddy were drive back to school last Sunday, on rt 81 south, around exit 11 (this is in southern PA), and I was in the lead and there was a strait-away w/ out too many cars where I could see ahead for a ways (so I made sure there were no cops) and I decided to let it out a little and I gave it some gas and eventually reached around 100 mph or so, and my buddy stayed behind me the whole way but was back probably 100 feet or so, he was in his 2000 Chevy Extreme.

Well, the next thing I know I see (in my rear view) a brownish ford crown vic unmarked!!!, w/ a flashing red light on the dash come up behind my buddy and motioned him to pull over, he then came up behind me and did the same. (by the time he got to me I had slowed considerably). %#@!&%@$# Well to make a long story a little shorter, he clocked us, by using his speedo at 98 mph. He said that he was going to give us a break and write the ticket for only 90 in a 65 because if he wrote it up for the full amount we would automatically loose our license's because it would be more the 26mph over.

So we both got matching tickets 90 in a 65, $161.50. So, my question is should I try and fight it on the basis that never really clocked me directly, he was only ever behind my friend while we were speeding, how does he know that just my buddy wasn't speeding and he was catching up to me, while I was doing the speed limit and happened to be ahead of him a ways? On the ticket it says he followed us for 2 miles, and clocked us for .3. Does this sound like a valid argument to plead not guilty on? Also, is there any special things cops have to do when they pull you over in an unmarked car (uniform, lights, ect...)? I would really appreciate and suggestions or help on trying to get out of this, I already have 4 points on my license for another ticket, and I might loose it if I get this one. TIA, later all.
