Well it will cost you money..... but to who?
My advice is to get the best attorney you can afford, tell the truth to your attorney and give him every little detail you can about the incident. Then let him fight it for you. They know the people (judges,etc) and they know how to get you the "best deal". There is no doubt about it you will PAY but it is a matter of to who and for how long. No matter how you approach life a good attorney is an asset(money well spent). Higher insurance rates are like flushing it down the toilet, fines go to the local government and are spent locally(so it isn't a total waste).
