Your comments seem to disagree with several quotes from the Magnecor.com page:
http://www.magnecor.com/magnecor1/kv85r100.htm
"We always recommend use of our Race Wires for any stock or modified late model street engine that is electronically managed, however most other modified or street engines can also use our Race Wires to improve ignition performance"
Saabs are particularly sensitive to EMI. I'd think the additional EMI suppression would be worth the $15 bux.
From: http://www.magnecor.com/magnecor1/frequent.htm#4
"4. Do I need ignition wires with a low electrical resistance ?
No. For a detailed answer to this important, and very frequently asked question, see: Truth About Ignition Wire Conductors."
