If the shocks do fail after such a short time, I'll return them (they've got a lifetime guarantee) and demand an upgrade to Koni or Bilstein, or whatever. I thought I read somewhere that Tokiko no longer makes shocks to fit the classic 900, so I don't think that's any longer an option. (I also read, BTW, that Jamex no longer makes springs either as that was one of the brands I was looking for before I settled on Intrax...).
I should have mentioned here in the first place that I live and drive in L.A. (not to be confused with "To Live and Die in L.A.", a truely bad movie, but with a killer stunt scene where a semi truck and trailer jackknifes and barrels through a bunch of traffic on the 405, but I digress...). Therefore I don't have the problems that some of you who live in areas which get snow have. Our road conditions aren't as bad due to the fact that the cracks in the road surfaces don't fill with water and freeze in the winter. Therefore, I don't think my shock selection is THAT important... Thanks though.
