The oil light indicates oil pressure below a specified level. If you turn the key to the on position, the oil light should come on saying you don't have oil pressure (which you don't since the engine is off). When you start the car, the light should be on for less then a second, while the oil pump builds pressure and trips the switch. Your condition sounds normal. I doubt you have any lower bearing problems, your car has low milage (100k), and you change the oil. A noisy timing chain would not go away in 5 seconds.
I have had a few SAABs that would rattle for a second at startup. Its normal. Its just the lifters pumping up. If it really concers you, have an indepent borrow the car for the night, and have him listen in the morning. I am sure he will tell you to not sweat it.
