Correct it's not the chain.Switch to a straight 40 or 50 weight oil and the knock will go away.Your oil clearances on the crankshaft are to large for the multi-grade oil you are present using. To confrim before oil change, while engine is cold and knock is there set wires on distributor so you can pull each one off,one at a time. The one you pull and the knock stops has the loose/worn bearing. If you have DI ignition make 4-4" spark plug leads to raise the DI up and don not use spark plug boots on the lower leads. Make a grounding wire long enough so you use it to reach each spark plug lead. Now touch the grounding wire to each spark plug lead as above to short each cylinder to determine which rod is making the knock. Then plan on when to rebuild the engine.
