Born there, in Medina! 33 years was enough & I now enjoy the Carolina weather so much I doubt I will ever return to the old homeland.
I would not even consider HONDA lube, too much "bleeding edge" for my wallet.
I am curious about the Amsoil, since Townsend is in NC and says it works fine here. My concern still is about massive leaks developing. Obviously my trans must leak slowly, since the level is now low. I do not even want to get into having to pull the sucker to "regasket it" just so I can enjoy synthetic lube. My tranny shifts OK for me, much better after I got in touch with the ideosyncracies. I would be just as happy to run the Dino lube, except for nagging fears of a $2K trans job around the corner. If for that reason only I may go the Amsoil route.
How do you purchase the stuff anyway?
