If your clutch slave is shot and you cannot get the whole thing out, I have been there. I had a clutch job completely done a few years ago, and the t/o bearing was squealing a little. I wanted it perfect, so ordered a 2nd release bearing with the intention of replacing it, just before a vacation. I did not get the factory spacer ring in good, it jumped out at the wrong moment, and the whole #$@ thing was jammed in sideways in the tranny. AFter much messing around, involving borrowing a tool from the dealer on Sunday afternoon and craziness like that, I had the car hauled to the dealer (while the vacation clock was ticking) and they had the whole assembly out in no time (with the hood still on!!!) with a couple of very large pry bars. The mechanic acted like it was no bfd. Anyway, got me on the road in 90 minutes and all was well. Perhaps some large crowbars would help your situation??? good luck, I know how you feel, as I considered (and tried) to cut through the slave. I also had the spacer ring not seat well recently on an 86, and used a crowbar to push each "finger" in individually. That might work too.
