I just checked the fuel pump, at the fuse box (no power) so I checked the connectors at the pump (also no power) Checked with key in all positions including "start."
I have a subwoofer in my trunk, so I have a 12 volt power cable and ground there, could I use these to "test" the fuel pump to see if it's still good?
As for the previous post, I haven't checked that wire, but the problem is intermittent (less than 10-15%) of the time. Wouldn't a problem with that wire happen everytime I accelerated? the tach did appear to drop immediately to zero, like the key had been turned off.
Other than this intermittent problem and the new "no-start" this car ran like a champ.
I don't want to send it to the shop, becuase I don't want to pay for a repair that I can do (given the right parts, tools, and advice).
Thanks for any and all help
