Getting a MIG welder is your best bet. Practice ALOT!!! before you attack your car. As for the frame welding, I would suggest you alow an experienced welder to take care of that. Some of the mobile guys can come to your house and do it as long as you have it properely prepped. All of the MIG welds I have seen are plenty strong for sheet metal, but I would not trust them for thicker frame metal.
