If you used a broker for the insurance get an opinion from them (first ask if they have to inform the insurance company about anything you tell them - ask for assurance in writing that the your insurance will NOT INCREASE due to a potential fire claim). Since you have publically aired all the information that you might not have had to divulge the insurance folks know all the potential sources of ignition. The first step is to ask the insurance company AND SPECIFY "off the record" what will they do for you.
Also get an offical estimate from a reliable indie or dealer.
