The timing light that you found will not work properly with a Saab ignition system unless it has an inductive pickup that fastens around a connected spark plug wire. The old ones that were connected in series into the number one sparkplug circuit will produce a wandering stobe blink, so you cannot accurately set the timing(not dwell). If it doesn't have the inductive pickup, I'd toss it unless you don't like to throw things away, which is why I still have an old in line timing light!
